本屆主題 This Year’s Theme
「逃 Escape」
面對生活的擠壓、對現狀不滿、未知的恐懼，想「逃」，是坦白的反應。
我們以創作為逃跑的手段，畫出屬於自己的逃生口，來到一個中轉站。
容許自己片刻的安逸，一邊接受轉變的忐忑，一邊主動將悲憤轉化成新的力量。
反思現狀、寄望未來，無論如何這一刻先讓自己跑起來。你的「逃」是怎樣的？
When we face a stressful life, a dissatisfying reality, or a scary unknown, it is honest and normal to want to “escape.”
Creativity is our means to escape. We draw our own safety exit to a transitional place, where we allow ourselves a moment of peace, so we can accept the uneasiness of change and transform turbulent feelings into newfound empowerment.
We reflect on the status quo, hope for a better future, and most of all, we start running. What does your “escape” look like?
今年將新增主題展覽，並設漫畫及平面作品兩個分類：
A themed exhibition will be held during the festival this year in the following two categories: 1) comics, 2) graphic arts.
漫畫作品要求
- 作品內容至少４頁，折疊時尺寸為3x3cm以上或A4以下
- 接受flipbook投稿
- 報名時至少需要遞交完整大綱及初步分鏡，如為舊刊物可投稿完整pdf
- 入選作者如非本屆活動攤主，可申請官攤寄賣
- 入選後需要在11月初提交實體書本，可以是正式印刷品或dummy book
- 如有原稿/設定稿等等可以一併提交以同時展出
Submission Requirements for Comics
- Must consist of at least four pages.
- Size when bound/folded: Bigger than 3 x 3 cm and smaller than A4.
- Flipbooks are accepted.
- You will have to submit a synopsis for the whole story AND a draft storyboard for the application. For existing work, please submit a PDF version of the completed work.
- What happen if you are shortlisted:
- You may apply to have your work sold on consignment at the organiser’s booth if you do not plan to table at this year’s festival.
- You must submit a physical copy of the selected work by early November. (Both published versions and “dummy book” are accepted.)
- You may submit any manuscripts and/ or concept sketches together with the physical copy to showcase them in the exhibition.
平面作品要求
- 作品需要為平面作品，尺寸為3x3cm以上或A3以下，表面厚度不多於3cm
- 接受任何媒介作品投稿，包括但不限於手繪、電繪、版畫、拼貼等，唯投稿者必須注意媒介是否容易保存。
- 報名時需要遞交已完成作品電子檔，或 草稿 + 過往類似風格作品 做參考
- 可提供入選作品的複製版在官攤寄賣
- 入選後需要在11月初提交實體作品，電繪作品亦需要自行印刷。
Submission Requirements for Graphic Arts
- Work size: Bigger than 3×3 cm and smaller than A3; Thickness must be less than 3 cm.
- All media are accepted, e.g. painting, digital art, engraving, and collages. However, please ensure your chosen medium is suitable for storage and display.
- You will have to submit a digital file(s) of the completed work, OR sketches of your entry + your portfolio in a similar style.
- What happen if you are shortlisted:
- You may apply to have your prints sold on consignment at the organiser’s booth if you do not plan to table at this year’s festival.
- You must submit a physical or printed copy of the selected work by early November (even if your original work is in digital format).

- 接受公眾、本地及海外投稿，投稿者不限年齡，可以是多人創作組合
- 非本屆活動攤主也可參加
- 接受新舊作品投稿
- 非繁體中文或廣東話作品必須附上翻譯
- 作品必須為100%原創
- 版權必須100%由投稿者擁有，不接受商業出版或商業邀稿投稿
Important Remarks
- Everyone is welcome. Whether you are from local or overseas, your art education background, and age group, you are all encouraged to apply.
- You may apply as a group or a collective.
- You do NOT have to table at this year’s festival to apply.
- Both new and existing works are welcome. You can still apply even though the work was exhibited in other festivals/events.
- Traditional Chinese/ Cantonese is our official language. To better reach our audience, if your work is in other languages, you must provide translation when you send us our physical copy.
- Your entry must be 100% original.
- You must have complete copyright of the submitted entry.
- Commercial publications or commissioned works will not be accepted.

- 參加費用全免。
- 入選作品可獲【獨讀4】入場門票一張，同一作者同時投稿多件作品亦當作一張計算。
- 海外投稿者如需要協助印刷，可另行報價。
- 提交作品預設歸入獨讀書庫，不會退還，如有特別原因需要取回，請於提交申請時提出。書庫細則請參閱官網 https://duk6duk6.com/about/#archive
- 本屆獨讀活動完結後，將安排另行舉辦展覽(時間地點待定)。如不欲參加後續展覽，請於提交申請時提出。
- 主辦團隊有權在任何時間點取消作品展出資格而不作另行通知。
- ！！！每份作品須分別填寫一份報名表！！！
- 主辦團隊主要以電郵聯絡參加者，請確實填寫會檢查的電郵信箱。
Other Details
- Free to enter
- Shortlisted artist will receive a ticket to【 𝐃𝐮𝐤⁶ 𝐃𝐮𝐤⁶ 𝟒】. Each artist or each entry (whichever is less) will receive one ticket only.
- Printing service is available for overseas artists. Please contact the organiser for a free quote.
- All submitted copies will be added to the Duk6 Duk6 Archives and will not be returned. Should you want the copies to be sent back to you, please specify in the application. More details on the Archives can be found on our website: https://duk6duk6.com/about/#archive
- We are planning to bring this exhibition on a tour after this year’s festival. Details are yet to be confirmed. Should you wish to opt out from this tour, please specify in the application.
- The organiser reserves the right to disqualify/remove any entry from the exhibition at any time without prior notice.
- ！！！One entry form for one artwork. Please start a new form if you have multiple entries！！！
- Our communication is mainly done via email. Please ensure the email address you provide is current and up to date.
